@TelBlogger - Difficult to argue with your statement !

As a "high registration" .tel domain investor (as well as software developer) along with others like Jens etc., we are all massively reducing our investment in .tel domains.

Telnic/Telnames may not care, but what they seem unable to grasp is that an involved "ecosystem" around any internet product is one of the most valuable things a company can have - ask Apple or Microsoft !

The problem is that Telnames - the only form of .tel now being marketed - is alienating the following potential members of such an "ecosystem" for the reasons stated below:

1. Domain Investors - no Telnames monetisation via AdSense.

2. Software Developers - no access to Telnames API.

3. Power Users - no subdomains with Telnames .tels.

4. Telnic Registrars - not allowed to sell Telnames .tels.

Point 4 is almost unbelievable - a manufacturer (Telnic/Telnames) forbidding its 122 Retailers (ie. Registrars) from selling the latest version of its product.

You Couldn't Make It Up !
