If to be silent for 3 years is his best, then he is the wrong man for this job!
He calls himself Business Development and Communications Director for Telnic. BUT THERE IS NO DEVELOPMENT AND THERE IS NO COMMUNICATIONS AT TELNIC SINCE LONG.

I always thought of the guy as a douche. Full of big words but no actions of any value ever that I can recall. In my industry they refer to these types of guys as empty suits.

IMO this guy should have been fired long ago and replaced with a real business person who gets results by among other things listening to his customers. Where is the accountability in this sh*tty corporation? There seems to be none whatsoever IMO.

I tell you one thing. If this twit was working for a US company he would have been gone four years ago IMO.

What a complete farce!

IMHO Justin is very good in what he is doing.
The problem is nobody has seen him doing anything for Telnic during the last 3 years.
It's very sad that Telnic does everything to fight against its own success.
It would be so easy to give the Telnames template to all customers and add subdomains.
But instead Telnic ignores all urgent needs.

Telnic is something like a government agency. And Telnic is British, not American. Thus don't expect too much!

That shouldn't be a problem.
Something is seriously wrong with this company.
But that has nothing to do with the location.

Definitely what needs to happen but they targeted the extra revenue stream off Telnames domains and have not yet admitted it is a failure. They didn't realize that they alienated their existing customer base with this too.

Expand the template to a Blogger like system of boxes for content within the control panel. End of problem because they would have something unique.

You have to admit when you are wrong. And your customers have to ultimately create value with your product.

This could be the only logical answer to all questions.
Telnic is acting this strange, because the target is to throw out the registrars to get all profit alone in the future.
Since this is against ICANN regulations, probably Telnic is waiting this long, because Telnic is playing the following game:
1.) Waiting until registrations at Telnic has fallen to an insignificant level
2.) Meanwhile preparation of a useable solution at Telnames
3.) As soon all customers are gone who are able to complain at Telnic, launching this prepared product at Telnames
4.) Canceling the offer at Telnic and forcing the last few customers to switch to Telnames
This is the only imaginable explanation for Telnic's strange behavior. Very tricky!
If Telnic is lucky, ICANN will ignore this fraudulent behavior.

True! As we know ICANN is not very keen on regulating Telnic: http://www.teltalk.org/t559-icann-complaint-against-telnames

Sure, Telnic has one long term target: increasing the registration fees strongly. Telnames is the tool to achieve this target. Telnic doesn't bother losing money (with the customers at the registrars) in the short term as long as Telnic will make more money later on (with Telnames).

Interesting analysis which sounds plausible. I need to think about this further.

But my calls fall on deaf ears - so what we now have is a manufacturer (Telnic Ltd) refusing to let its retailers (the Registrars) have the latest version of a product and instead attempting to sell it direct to the retailers own customers via its 100% owned subsidiary (Telnames Ltd).

Look at any business area where a company has attempted to do this and it virtually always ends in tears - or industry boycott of the manufacturer - or both !

That is not the only one variant. I do not think that these men are technies and visionaries like, for example, Steeve Jobs was and who wanted to change the World. I also do not think that they sleep and dream about Telnames bright future.

More probably that the song sounds "All they need love is money". By one way or another without difference. Who knows, may be the eyes of speculators who by accident had happen to speculate not potatoes but domains, it is more profitable now not to develop business but instead first to ruin it and afterwards to buy it for pennies?

If we allow this possibility then many unlogical things would become looking logical.

I was thinking: Maybe Telnic has nothing bad in mind. Perhaps Telnic is only clueless and confused about what is important.

The top priority of every customer focused company should be to increase value for the customers and as a result increase sales figures.
Unfortunately Telnic is doing exactly the opposite.
