... are now for sale.

Click http://TheLakeDistrict.tel and http://ThePeakDistrict.tel to view.

Obviously ideal for a multiple town Geo directory, these two domains are available via Sedo - the price includes their excellent escrow service.

To purchase please click the above domain links and then the "Buy" link at the bottom of the page, or alternatively go direct to the Sedo purchase page by clicking the links below:

http://www.sedo.com/search/details.php4?domain=TheLakeDistrict.tel

http://www.sedo.com/search/details.php4?domain=ThePeakDistrict.tel

If you want a Geo project to get your teeth into, with the opportunity for AdSense income via the various combinations of Towns & Hotels/Restaurants/Pubs/Taxis/ etc. either domain would be ideal.

Both are currently set up as a 1-page parking site to ensure search engine indexing.

Mike, are you even sure that directories will be an option. Telnames may be killing the subdomain structure which will halt our directories. I am trying to add up how much money I wasted on the Telnic fiddle-faddle. Brutal

I can't imagine Telnic the Registry as distinct from Telnames the Reseller (I know, same CEO, CFO, CMO, offices, etc.) could get away with doing away with subdomains in the forseeable future.

The support for .Tel, which at the moment is largely from members of this and Telnic's forum, would simply evaporate.

I did have a chat last Friday with two of the senior guys at Telnic/Telnames, and whilst I am not prepared to discuss any details of the conversation, I came away feeling much more confident about the future for .Tel.

There are definite plans - it's just that these need to happen before software developers and domain investors move their time and money into the new gTLDs being launched in the next year or so.

So I'm still investing in .Tel domains - I've bought some superb ones in the last few weeks - though like many investors I am also selling some .Tel domains that I simply haven't got time to do justice to, which in most cases will be directory-based ones which require a lot of time but for those with the time they offer good monetisation possibilities through AdSense, Affiliate programs and directly placed ads.

Don't forget also that .Tel is uniquely placed, with it's seamless operation on mobile phones, to benefit from the biggest new development in Affiliate marketing for years - Pay Per Call - see http://www.teltalk.org/t146-new-pay-per-call-monetisation-opportunity for more details.

So my plan is to refine my portfoilio of .Tel domains by buying/selling to fit in with my time constraints, not to be afraid of the Telnames single page template approach ("Joe Public" may well prefer it), and maximise revenue through the use of the existing Pay Per Click/Lead/Sale ads and the new Pay Per Call development.

And remember one unique feature of .Tel, the facility of software programs to read the DNS and generate derivates of your data (for that read "Free Promotion" of your business throughout the internet) is only in it's infancy !
