Telnic has completely forgotten that selling domain services is a customer oriented business.

Ignoring the customers is the biggest mistake by Telnic ever.
But if you ask Telnic, I bet the management there doesn't know what I'm talking about.

Apple has successfully discovered:

Give Customers What They Want - Or Can Be Persuaded To Desire - And They Will Keep Coming Back For More !

As you say, this does not appear to be part of Telnic's company philosophy !

Still I suppose Telnic know what they're doing ?

PS, Obviously the last sentence was a rhetorical question !

A friendly reminder for Telnic:

In one month you have to submit your financial data for 2013 or find a new, creative accounting trick again to avoid them become publicly available!

Wouldn't it be nice if Telnic would use its creativity for product development instead for uncommon business tactics?

These things happen around the turn of the year:

But does that mean that something positive will happen (after many years of inactivity)?
I doubt it!

What could be the reason for this since very few people are left to exchange information and no topics exist to talk about?
Wouldn't it be easier to close the whole forum?

Telnic want to get rid of the history, but want to keep the option for an unencumbered conversation in the later future.
The best moment to arrange this is now (when the interest in .tel is as low as possible).

What's the point of a Telnic Forum - new or old - that is permanently in LOCKDOWN MODE ie. compulsory registration for newbies even if you've just come across .tel and want to read a little bit about it on the forum ?

.TEL was supposed to change the way the world communicates via Phase 2 - with Dial/Email/Skype etc by Name - with Phase 1 (the current situation) being the means by which a massive collection of user data was loaded onto .tels by their owners ready for automated reading in Phase 2.

BUT the architect of Phase 2 Henri Asseily - the (ex) Chief Technical Officer & Strategist of Telnic/Telnames - appears to have given up on active involvement with the .Tel Project and moved onto other things - check http://henri.tel for any mention of his position at Telnic/Telnames !

WHY THE **** IS TELNIC/TELNAMES FIDDLING ABOUT WITH FORUM CHANGES WHEN FUNDAMENTALS LIKE THE FINANCIAL SITUATION AND RELATIONS WITH DEVELOPERS/REGISTRARS/USERS ARE IN SUCH A MESS AND TOTAL REGISTRATIONS HAVE DROPPED OFF A CLIFF ?

Since Telnic doesn't want to make big and / or important improvements, the employees have time for small and needless topics like the migration of a dead forum.

4444 wrote:Wow! Hence from now on Telnic will shorten the accounting reference date for one day every three months shortly before the next deadline and gets another three months extension - and so Telnic has to file the financial data never again. That's smart!

How long Telnic will survive with this strategy?

Exact! Telnic just did it again:
Change of accounting reference date for Telnic: http://companycheck.co.uk/company/03555437/TELNIC-LIMITED/companies-house-docs
Change of accounting reference date for Telnames: http://companycheck.co.uk/company/07471889/TELNAMES-LIMITED/companies-house-docs
I seriously doubt that this is still legal!

So, does it means that our CEO has a chance to join that exclusive society:
Top Ten CEOs Sent to Prison ?

"In most other cases of executive white-collar crime, however, CEOs are not stealing directly from their companies. Instead, they are trying to ensure the safety of their jobs by promoting the appearance of success of their companies through fraud, false accounting and bribery, among others."

Now it's getting really dangerous at Telnic. It's absolutely clear that Telnic tries to avoid its accounting responsibilities!

We need to help CEO to avoid the risk of committing a big mistake. So, somebody of us need to call urgently to police and to tell the story. The Law does not like jokes. So, it would be better if that call would be made by a friend and with good intentions. : )

How stupid is this? We all know that together with the registration numbers the registration and renewal fees are declining strongly and Telnic has no other revenues.
Why Telnic tries to hide the fact that they are financially at the end? We all know it already! Problems don't get smaller by adding more problems!

There is a simple explanation for this:

Only forum readers know the truth about Telnic's financial situation.
Most domains get renewed in March each year. By hiding Telnic's balance sheet with its disastrous data for another three months, Telnic can earn the renewal fees for most domains for one more year.
If the financial data get published earlier, it gets unlikely that domain owners will keep their domains.

The call should be made to police or to the appropriate body, which oversees the violations of the law in the field of business. There is no need to disturb www.kash.tel now, in the time of Merry Christmas. : )

P.S.
I would call, but by phone with my accent it would be difficult for them to understand at once what the matter is about. So, it would be better if that would be done by a native English speaker.
