Have you ever seen anything like this?

Post by Tim Spears on Mon 15 Dec 2014, 1:57 am

Opportunities lie ahead a lot, but why is Telnic doing absolutely nothing since years?
Do you know any other company in the world resigned to its fate like this?

Now it's deleting all its closed forum - they are calling it migration. All the years of collected forum threads and the knowledge therein to be erased. Another winning Telnic strategy! Go TelTards!

It does seem a weird thing to do - delete all of the forum information - even though the actual URL of Telnic's forum is staying unchanged !

I think it's probably the least of Telnic/Telnames problems at the moment - see
http://www.teltalk.org/t1733p32-telnic-pulls-a-cunning-move#11229 - but why introduce a further self-inflicted problem with this forum data deletion ?

Does Telnic/Telnames have a death wish ?

IMHO the actions at Telnic are very consequent; every move focuses on reducing registration numbers even further. Telnic is following this strategy straightforward!

But why?

In order for Telnic to achieve their (non) registration goals perhaps they should just run ads explaining why .tel is such a bad investment.

That would draw attention and this way someone could think it's meant ironic and accidently buy a .tel.
Instead for Telnic the best guarantee to failure is to continue exactly as before!

But my calls fall on deaf ears - so what we now have is a manufacturer (Telnic Ltd) refusing to let its retailers (the Registrars) have the latest version of a product and instead attempting to sell it direct to the retailers own customers via its 100% owned subsidiary (Telnames Ltd).

Look at any business area where a company has attempted to do this and it virtually always ends in tears - or industry boycott of the manufacturer - or both !

IT'S LOOKING LIKE 2015 COULD WELL HAVE A TEARFUL START !

Let's hope that at least something will happen, doesn't matter if good or bad (ANYTHING) - at least one thing (after so much time)!

Maybe Telnic should apply to change the extension name from .tel to .f**ked, .dead or .targetzeroregistrations. All of these would generate more interest than .tel.

I bought a .tel
Now I'm in .hell
Because I can't .sell

Too late; the competition was faster again: the extension .rip will launch soon!
