Not all Doom & Gloom

It's not all Doom & Gloom
The feeling in general seems to be that things are moving to slow, and I would agree, however read on.
A couple of work related names I own don't rank to bad, they could do better, their certainly not setting the world on fire, however up to this point I have received work to the value of about AU$ 700 and also have quoted (not won) work to the value of AU$ 7,000. also other work I've been invited to quote on, valued at about AU$ 90,000. where admittedly I would not have been the only competitor but pleased none the less to be asked.
This on a couple, in my opinion very ordinary .tels, so I think that's not half bad, the only commodity I'm advertising is me, no Ads of any description, I assume if I got my finger out my sites should perform even better.

Hi Cees,

Your'e right - Dot Tels can be put to many uses. You seem to have found a valuable use for yours.

One thing I've found effective is using Dot Tels to generate traffic (and link juice) to Dot Coms.

Here's an example - I use http://BoatFinder.tel to generate traffic to my boat search engine http://www.BoatSearchWorldwide.com

It costs me approximately $1 a month to run http://BoatFinder.tel - far less than using PPC - and of course at the end of the day I still have http://BoatFinder.tel as an asset.

Offset the cost of http://BoatFinder.tel by some AdSense revenue and it's a bit of a no-brainer really!

Mike, yours is a very impressive model indeed, I need to do more, as I stated mine are about as basic as they come yet deliver some impressive if infrequent results, I imagine more input such as your model, should lift my results.
Thanks for your input.

How do you update the adverts on your .com-website?: Some adverts / offers have expired...

Hi Marcello,

http://www.BoatSearchWorldwide.com is a true search engine.

A software robot I have written crawls the web but targets boat sales sites only. This means that between visits to a site by the robot there will always be some adverts expired, which will be picked up on the next crawl by the robot.
