I must have been asleep

Has anyone noticed the massive drop in the last xxx day/s

Total number of dot tels registered as of 19-Jan-2012: 297,818
IDN count: 84,524

Hosterstats.com show 310,388 regs for Dec 2011

yes... there was sizeable (18780 to be exact) 'drop' of mainly idn's last night hence the running count taking a battering..

remember they don't actually become free to register for a while yet..

What is wrong with certain company?
Not too much time to let telnic wait something, some cooperative companies will choose to leave.
Telchina also almost lost patience in the middle of 2011 and gain a little bit confidence under the bump performance of end of 2011.

[size]
China Mobile is the biggest Telco in the world - with 644,319,000 customers (see http://www.chinamobileltd.com) - that's about 10 times the total population of the UK !

So the .tel Mobile Payments deal of April 2011 with TelChina (see http://www.circleid.com/posts/telchi...ution_with_tel) has huge potential to expand .tel - why have we heard nothing more about its implementation - did it happen and if so when can we expect a similar mobile payments implementation for non-TelChina registrants ?

With mobile phone payment set to explode in the next year or two surely this is a key area for .tel to lead from the front ?

This is from about 2 years ago, but even the mighty Google isn't winning this game still today:

.TEL still has the advantage in this space, it's simply a matter of time.
