chrome search

Is anyone experiencing problems accessing .tel sites through Google Chrome?

When I search for one of my sites the browser frequently freezes, and I have to "end task" before I can use it again. IE works fine.

Well, it's only my .tel/Telnames sites that are involved and, strangely, if I ignore the first page and open a new tab then the search works - it took me two days to figure that out!

This has been happening for about two weeks - whenever I have cleared the cache.

There is something wrong with .tel domains this evening.

I am unable to access my tel sites - and the issue is affecting all browsers.

Even those sites that are opening, very slowly, usually fail to load again on a refresh - or when clicking on a sub-domain.

It's even worse with mobile (Android). Sites will not load at all.

I have checked www.telnic.tel and I am finding the same problem. Telnames sites seem to be unaffected

@Blunderer. I had not noticed any issue prior to this evening.

Tony, our technical support team are looking into the issue you have reported.

I'll let you know when I have more information.

Thanks

Aled

Thanks for quick response Aled.
Everything is working okay again now.

Aled09-28-2014 08:53 PM

Thanks for letting us know. Glad it has improved.

Blunderer - I have been trying to recreate your issue and haven't been able to do so to date. Can you let me know a couple of the searches you've been attempting please? Also do you have any add ons installed for chrome such as anti-virus or popup blockers that could be running and affecting it?
