Telnic and Telnames have gone completely into sleeping mode.

Will there be a change for .tel, perhaps in the distant future?

Yes, of course: we all are waiting for the closure of Telnic!

It's clear that no activity for .tel will be initiated anymore as long Telnic is in charge:

But Tenic is preparing the exit already:

We've to wait for new developments until another company takes over.

I expect that Telnic will try to sell .tel before May 2016:

I only don't have any idea how Telnic want to achieve a high sales price.

Every potential buyer will wait until Telnic is even more under pressure, because Telnic will really struggle if they are forced to extend the .tel registry agreement next year.

Telnic hasn't only no money anymore, but as proven absolutely no motivation to spend more effort for .tel, either.

What if Telnic has only recognized that the time is not yet ripe for .tel and is forced to wait for a changed environment?

Do you believe that the environment will change the way Telnic needs it by only waiting and doing nothing?
