after reading this link and now .Tel are playing in the same zone with other Ngld
I was wondering if they have a price cap.
this will be a big advantage over the others..or will prices go up as this becomes the norm.

Telnic once already tried to rise prices: Telnames price hike from £14.95 to £24.95. So I do not see any obstacles for them to repeat this. The expectation of such price rise in future was one of my stimulus to reduce number of my TELs in advance - from +100 to a dozen or so.

I had really very good TELs, and it was pity to drop any them but you cannot run a big distance with heavy handicap on your shoulders.

Besides of money, also I had no wish to feed Telnic's appetites in future.

CEO Frank Schilling wrote:“If you have a space with only 5,000 registrations, you need to have a higher price point to justify its existence, just because running a TLD isn’t free,” he said.
It is plain truth. And it concerns TELs directly, because number of 5000 domains in the registry is close to optimal number of potentially valuable domains in each of newTDL extension - about 3000 pcs. or so. And TEL-extension should fall to that number of 5000 (or so) registered domains because what is the sense for investors to keep the other than potentially valuable domains?

This is reality. All the other are only sweet dreams and self-deception for which we will pay with our real money untill the sad moment of  awakening.
