Perhaps they are the reason why Telnic have avoided speaking about Telnames. The investors wouldn't agree that the staff from Telnic is working only for a different company called Telnames now.

I doubt the investors of Telnic's $35,000,000 startup funding would have a problem with Telnic resources being used for Telnames development provided the vast majority of Telnames Ltd shares are held by themselves, either directly by their individual names or indirectly via Telnic Ltd (which they of course already own).

Does anybody know if this is the case ?

Yes, no conflict about that since Telnames is completely owned by Telnic: http://companycheck.co.uk/company/07471889

Launched in April 2012 Telnames is part of a long-term plan as the company was registered in December 2010 already.

Right, but investment returns need not be paid, if same investors are not behind TELNAMES LTD.

Only send a link pointing to teltalk.org via multi-address message to their e-mail addresses and all hell is breaking loose at Telnic after the weekend.

The same investors are behind Telnames Ltd., automatically and without lifting a finger.

The last time I checked the share ownership of Telnames Ltd. only 1 share had been issued, to Telnic Ltd.

So every investor in Telnic Ltd. owns exactly the same percentage of Telnames Ltd.

How is it possible that so many participants behind Telnic let .tel go to hell in a handbasket and do not call for sanity?

It does seem odd to me as well - many of these investors are key players who know a lot about finance and the internet.

I can only assume they accept .tel went off at a tangent (with the Telnic subdomain approach - great for SEO but that's not going to create "critical mass") from the original single point of contact idea and are now happy things are back on track with Telnames single-page .tels - the ONLY form of .tel now actively marketed.

The alternative logical answer that they haven't been properly monitoring their investment in Telnic/Telnames seems highly unlikely !

@Mike

Yes, the investors must monitor closely, but I don't think they are happy with the outcome (sold domains).
Some must have doubts that is was right to throw the old .tels overboard.

But investors don't run a company, the CEO does, and in the case of Telnic Ltd. investors can't I imagine threaten (with any credibility) to sell up.

AFAIK Telnic shares are not listed on any share market such as AIM (the Alternative Investment Market) and are therefore not easily tradeable - a bit like .tel domains !

Investors like him must know exactly what they are doing. If Telnic is currently not active, it must have its reasons. These can be manifold. As example very often companies are only a tax shelter scheme.

investment?

I own 3d.tel and 3dprinting.tel.  I registered both to further making inroads in the
3d printing genre.

If anyone  here hasn't heard of 3d printing yet well.. you're welcome.

If .tel domains were of any remote use or value do you think I might have
received an offer on either domain by now?   NOTHING, NOT A SMELL....

Now of course this does not mean that I do not recognize some value, but ...

3d.tel and 3d printing?

Give me a break.!

Percentage of shares. Very interesting.

The bigger shareholder is Iris Financial - 40%.

They pay for the party or they order music?

They WILL CARE when the last of the $35,000,000 shareholder investment runs out in the not-too-distant future and Telnic management ask them for a FEW MORE MILLIONS so salaries and expenes can continue to be paid !

NO CASH - NO STAFF - NO BUSINESS !

Kash should sell out now, as I keep suggesting, to an organisation like Afilias, before everyone loses interest in .tel !

Actually why not contact the shareholders directly and try and understand what their plans are. Whether they enjoy losing $35 million and what efforts they have made to get these people at Telnic to do something. Or is there a hidden agenda.
