Are New Domain Extensions the Future of the Web?

Even if the reign of .com isn’t quite over yet, it certainly can’t last forever. With all the good .com domains running out, the new TLDs will have to take .com’s place.

Maybe, it's the only chance for .tel to increase registration numbers to go along with a general success of new top-level-domains. But this is very uncertain and will take a long time.

Another question is if a general success of nTLDs will happen or only a few nTLDs will become popular.
