Mismanagement at Telnic

Post by Sunrise on Mon 05 Nov 2012, 2:48 am

Am I wrong or does this reflect the current behavior by Telnic?
Ignoring customer requests constantly.
Never starting with template development seriously.
Excluding the community and all external resources.
Stopping all communication.
Prevention of external development.
Withdrawal from their existing relationships.
Ignoring ICANN agreements.
Not consulting the right sources and trying their luck alone.
Stopping all marketing.

The biggest mistake so far is the Telnames project:
Achieving nothing with this new company.
Withholding the Telnames template improvement from all existing customers at Telnic.
Making the look of the Telnic product even less attractive in comparison to Telnames.
Making everybody angry (customers, registrars, partners, ICANN).

I used to quietly blame myself for asking for too much for the reason why they stopped talking to anyone, but when mark stated that it's a legal requirement they listen to us and our needs I felt a bit better.

If you have customers screaming their needs and you're unable to fulfill them and your rivals are appearing to be doing more development than you, I guess that kinda s-ucks.

Though I don't agree the Telnames project was a big mistake it was necessary to step over lethargic registrars, I can't abide when telnic appear to drag their feet on a feature upgrade as much as anyone but when a registrar like "dm" doesn't even try to make a proxy and takes double your money that's insulting, and is a core reason of why telnames is better even as an alleged fictional business entity.

Telnames targets real businesses and business start ups, not random spam and ice cream, that's the best representation tel needs for joe public and to give everyone the telnames theme is to just be promoting trash (apart from those who put in some effort).

The whole reason tel exists is to make a phone directory of sorts, and without telnames going to actual businesses who have actual details to enter then we/they have nothing and tel is worthless to joe public when looking for information.

.tel is not just another random .info spammers domain, you're supposed to put your details in but most just get away with one url link then complain about why it's not working for them.
