That's why they want to introduce the new .uk domain!

"specifically designed for businesses that are or want to get online,
with a new shorter domain name of internet.uk rather than
internet.co.uk."

It's very smart to sell the .uk addresses for a premium price after co.uk is the second strongest ccTLD after .de.
First it will bring big money + second the .uk addresses will show appropriate content immediately.

If Telnic does it right, they could profit from this perspective.
Let's see if Telnic will draw the right conclusions or if they continue like now.

An interesting comment to that article was made by Luthers. Some strong associations with another gTDL came into my mind after reading it.
How this woman, creator of a failed business, lacking any insight, still gets the level of coverage she does is beyond me. Lastminute stank, and deserved to fail before it was bought out.

It isn't the use of computers that is the issue, it is the ability to organise processes behind them, to change the marketing strategy, to change the buying, to correctly structure finances, payments and the whole raft of business processes that lead a company to be successful. Bring everyone online and what do you have? A crowded businessplance with little differentiation and replicated business flaws. This is just an argument to sell more computing, but the computer is a tool - owning a hammer doesn't make you a craftsman.

Had Lastminute started today, it would have failed, just as it had an enormous cash burn when it launched and never made a profit under her. I don't think MLF has ever learned the lesson of that, and for some reason is provided a platform to lecture others on business.

Great comment! That is what Telnic have to provide to their customers, but they don't do that in any way!
