What if ... ?

Post by Moonlight on Sun 18 Nov 2012, 6:02 am

What if the current development with Telnames was always planned from the beginning?
What about the following scenario:
Telnic was supposed to provide a single point of contact and the implementation into cell phones in a second step.
Telnames was supposed to provide an easy mobile webpage and mobile domain registrations.
If Telnic would have been successful right from the start, nobody would complain about the competing product from Telnames today.
Unfortunately success needs longer than planned what is the reason why development resources have been reduced a little bit to cut down costs in adjustment to the real sales.
But what does it mean for the future?
The idea behind .tel is still a great innovation; because enabling contacting people faster than possible before has great user benefit. No other domain extension provides this.
And although things need longer than expected, .tel can be still a great success in a few years.
