Today, using both telcp .com and telmasters .com , and also the telhosting panel I made a front page of my Torinо .tel:

Now for me it looks almost nice. I hope that texts at the right side will help this TEL to find later a good position in Google search. Big image makes TEL not so "over-dry" and could be used for showing examples of goods and articles.

I was not able to find how it is possible to make TEL open in the same window when clicking on its images or Ads, but I think that the result is enough good in summary.

It works ONLY for imageAds.
In a possible future update it should be corrected to ALSO work for textAds and relatedAds

...and make sure your link ends in ".tel" NOT ".tel/"

Boracay, thanks! Yes, that "slash" (/) was the reason why it was opening in another window.

How I personally see TEL in comparison with other extentions:

Very good interpretation through the eyes of an Artist.
I'm afraid..
Sorry, we do not wish to publish the true technical interpretation of the current situation!

TELcp, thanks!

In fact, my view on TEL in that picture above is optimistic. What I expect from Telnic, is that Telnic will implement community's suggestions about making TEL a ready product and will do something like it is shown on the picture bellow:

Now we have large images on all templates.
When we will be able to integrate large images on mobiles?
It should be a matter of course to see a bigger picture than a low and wide banner only like today.
Was .tel not invented for mobile phones?

As my example from my previous post shows not much creativity is necessary.
We need only common sense.
Another example for lack of functionality is the inability to manage pictures in the control panel from Telnic.

No, that doesn't reflect the reality!

There is no doubt about many needed enhancements, but Telnic is just not doing it.

What about managing images, videos, adverts and vouchers within the control panel?

What about modern icons?

What about delivering acceptable design?

What about bringing Telpages and Telfriends up to date?

telnic reject 95% of all requests
either they like their antique style or they are afraid of spending money for an update

Extending the template
choices

Over the past few months we’ve been hearing your feedback on
the new templates that were introduced and we’re pleased to announce that
there will be some additional options to use with your .tel name, which we
anticipate will be available at the end of this month or beginning of
January
. These provide further choices of narrow versions of Template 8 as
well as the ability to utilize darker text on a light background and vice
versa.
I could be wrong, but the beginning of January could be over soon.
The announced adjustment must be a very big and important project!

The above statement was not made by us.
It was quoted from the December 2012 New Update (.telegraph) from Telnic Ltd.
Please see the beginning of this thread.

Cheers!

Of course, we all know it's only one company not delivering. (My comment was not against Telcp.)

after template delay, roadmap cancelation, ignoring customer wishes, no support for software developers, transfer of resources to telnames, refusing help and communication stop again another proof for unreliability

What strategy from Telnic is better? No outlook for updates or announcing updates and not delivering on schedule?

What is so difficult about it?
They could say that they are working on the following tasks (...), but due to internal prioritization they won't announce the delivery date (like a roadmap without time frame).
What a big relief for all .tel owners this would be - and no embarrassment for Telnic anymore!!

Promoting .tel pages in

We have also changed the way in which adverts pointing to
other .tel pages are handled at the request of some members of the
community who wish to promote sub-folders or other .tel domains within
their directory services. Therefore, if a .tel domain owner specifies
a .tel address within the image advert banners, instead of opening in a new
window as is the case with any other extension, it will instead open within
the same window, as a normal .tel link would.
Now it is really great to adjust the pictures in the way that not a new window gets opened by redirecting to a .tel instead to a .com.

Strange: why the new redirect rule doesn't apply for ads, too? It would be very helpful for them, too!

by formulating your wishes and requests for telnic you have to be very clear and detailed
otherwise the smallest adjustments won't happen, although if they are very obvious
