None stacked backup image links.

Post by fustachio.tel on Sat 05 Jan 2013, 7:12 am

If I remember correctly we can have more than 2 images on the right side of the standard templates but they stack under each image box and show at random, I would like if it is possible to have the proxy on page load check if an image returns a 200 status and if not it uses a backup image link.
So basically if the page is loaded and the links don't return a 200 they're flagged as inactive so the next person who loads it gets the backup images that were flagged as active and vice versa or what ever it's possible to do to implement a way to allow us to put in backup links that display in the event an image link can't be loaded as it's hosting server is down, which is rare but just because its a rare situation don't mean we should not try for 99.9% uptime in not just only the page but the outside content as well.
