When Telnic will develop a presentable product?

Post by Toptel on Sat 26 Jan 2013, 2:06 pm

If I’m a business owner I want to give a good impression to my customer, correct?
If I tell my customers I’m reachable with a .tel, they will judge about my skill of presenting my company on the internet.
What will my customers think if they open my .tel on their devices?
If they see a .tel from Telnames, I present my company as a small, but not large business.
But if my customers see a .tel from Telnic, they will think I have never updated my website after the last millennium anymore!
This makes it impossible for a business to use a .tel from Telnic!

Buy another domain, an hosting plan and make your site using any of the templates offered generally by registrars. You will spend little more than the cost of a Telnames domain, but with a personalized site that reflects you and your business.

Also Telnames pages seem to have been made in the 90 's of the last century.

Yes, I also see Telnames TELs in this way - like anachronism of the past. It is "Nothing for the cost of something".

In a couple of hours I enjoyed sketching a site using a template of the free service provided by Weebly.

Free, easy, fast, customizable and you could use your own domain without paying hosting.

Weebly automatically creates a mobile version of the site, clearly legible.

Just a quick test. It is not hard to get a site.

It's faster to set up a Telname. The advantage is even bigger if doing it in on a cell phone.
While you can buy and publish your Telname in five minutes, you will play with such website builder longer than one hour (certainly more). Unfortunately Telnic doesn't offer the speed and the easiness from Telnames.

I have very little hope that Telnic will plan anything, because they always renege on their promises:

(I probably shouldn't mention the lost road map again.)

True! But the result is poor and limited.

The advantage is even bigger if doing it in on a cell phone.
I don't understand why I should work creating a site on the little screen of a smartphone and its uncomfortable keyboard, when I can work comfortably from my desktop or notebook. The cell is ok for minor tweaks or updates, and there is also the app "My .tel" for iPhone and Android.

While you can buy and publish your Telname in five minutes, you will play with such website builder longer than one hour (certainly more).
More time consumed, but not wasted if the result is better,

Unfortunately Telnic doesn't offer the speed and the easiness from Telnames.
Very True! But remember that Telnames is a stripped version of the original Telnic .tel

How so ?

This is a large business using a Telname that was in the new registrations recently.

www.fram.tel

If I look in the Yellow Pages I see a single page or ad for ALL business sizes.

You can look in that Yellow Search directory www.yellowsearch.tel around the world and see all sizes of businesses listed in them regardless of size.

The point of a Telname is the same - a fast, simple profile to advertise your business regardless of size in a popular directory across all devices.

SUCCESS !

Text, Video, Graphics, Promotions, Links ... All on 1 page in 1 ad.

Now about that popular directory .... hmmm.
