The good and the bad about Telnames

Post by Scott Ray on Wed 30 Jan 2013, 5:23 am

Nice design, extremely fast setup, easy handling, included domain name, no disturbing content, useful apps for cellphones, awesome voucher integration and automatic mobile website!

No sorting of content (other than contacts), icons and pictures too small, text too short, limited content, no categories, no directory, no search engine optimization and too high price!

I would like to know how Telnames wants to enable potential customers to find the Telname of a business.

There can be no doubt that the current disadvantages of .tel or Telnames will be eliminated with increasing sales and more development later on. It's good securing a .tel name early and watching upcoming improvements.

At Dynadot.com and name.com you will pay about $11 for one TEL.

And do not forget about that:

If you're going to use pictures, use one that everyone knows is true!

I have read this problem several times on this forum. Telnames didn't do anything about it the whole last year.
I don't think icons in the size like this are acceptable: http://bodytalk.tel

I guess you mean the profile picture (not the icons).
